How can the employment relationship be accredited?
For the purposes of proving the employment relationship and its duration, the interested party must present any means of proof that proves the existence of a previous employment relationship carried out in a legal situation of stay or residence.
What requirements must the employment relationship meet?
The completion, in the last 2 years of a work activity that involves:
➢Employed, at least 30 hours a week in a 6-month period or 15 hours a week in a 12-month period.
➢Self-employed, continuous activity for at least 6 months.

Permanent residency is obtained after 5 years of Spanish Residency through Self-Empoyed Residency or Non-Lucrative Residency or Residency through Investment. This followed by 5 years as a permanent resident and means you can then obtain Spanish Citizenship with a Spanish Passport.
