IMPORTANT UPDATE: GOLDEN VISA PROGRAM ENDING:

The Spanish Golden Visa program is coming to an end.

On November 14, 2024, the Spanish Congress approved the repeal of the articles governing the program (articles 63 to 67 of Law 14/2013).

This means applications for the Golden Visa will no longer be accepted after a transitional period.

TRANSITIONAL PERIOD OFFERS A WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY:

However, there’s a crucial caveat: a transitional period exists.

Applications submitted before April 3rd, 2025 will still be processed under the current regulations.

This provides a limited window for those interested in securing residency through the Golden Visa program.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PROPERTY INVESTMENT:

It’s important to remember that under the Golden Visa program, property investment must be completed and registered in your name before your application can be considered successful.

This means simply having a purchase agreement or holding funds for a property won’t suffice.
The property must be officially yours and registered in the Spanish Land Registry.
